2008 Stride for Education

A community event to benefit the Washougal Schools Foundation

The Student Stride for Education is an all-student fun run and adult 5K run/walk held at the Washougal High School stadium and the adjoining fields. This year's event is set for Saturday May 17, 2008.

Students, from Kindergarten to middle school, run in heats by grade level in distances of .5 miles to 2 miles. Although non-competitive, the run is timed so runners can see how they performed personally.

Registration

Registration cost is $10. After the first two family members, each additional participant is just $8.

Participants receive: commemorative t-shirt; Stride medallion; commemorative wristband; finish line refreshments; timed results posted online and published in the Post Record newspaper.
